High-Altitude Travel

Bumla Pass is a high-altitude destination. Guests should carry regular medicines and necessary personal medical supplies. Carrying oxygen support is recommended. Access is subject to required permits, weather and road conditions.

Accommodation

Standard check-in/check-out is generally 2:00 PM / 11:00 AM, subject to hotel policy. Room allocation will be as per the confirmed plan. Extra beds may be provided as mattresses on the floor. Accommodation is subject to availability and may be replaced with a similar-category property. No refund is normally applicable due to personal dissatisfaction with hotel facilities/services.

Weather & Road Conditions

Weather and road conditions in Northeast India can be unpredictable. Heavy rain, landslides, roadblocks and other unforeseen situations may affect the itinerary. For safety and operational reasons, the company may modify the route or itinerary when necessary. Any additional costs for extra accommodation, meals, transportation or route changes will be borne by the guest.

Permits & Documents

Valid government-issued ID and correct documents/information are required for booking, travel and permits. ILP and other applicable permits will be arranged as required. Government/Army regulations may change without prior notice.

Private Tour & Transportation

This is a private tour and the vehicle will not be shared with other tourists. The vehicle will operate as per the confirmed itinerary and local regulations. Reasonable itinerary changes may be requested, subject to time, road conditions and additional charges. Extra sightseeing, route deviation, waiting time or vehicle usage beyond the agreed itinerary may incur additional charges. The vehicle is not provided for unlimited personal disposal unless specifically agreed. Early departures may be required for long journeys, safaris and high-altitude excursions. AC may not operate normally in hill and high-altitude areas.

General Terms

Sightseeing is subject to available time, weather, road conditions, local restrictions and attraction operating hours. The company is not responsible for delays or changes caused by weather, landslides, roadblocks, political disturbances, natural calamities, accidents or other circumstances beyond its control. Any resulting additional expenses will be borne by the guest. Guests are responsible for their luggage and valuables and must follow local laws, hotel rules and instructions of the driver/company representative. Guest-requested changes to hotels, routes, vehicles or sightseeing may involve additional charges. Pets may not be permitted at certain hotels/homestays and should be informed before booking. Hotel management may deny admission for improper conduct or violation of property rules.

Alcohol Policy

Consumption or transportation of alcohol is not permitted inside the tour vehicle. Guests are requested to maintain cleanliness and proper conduct inside the vehicle.

Fuel Price Variation

The package price is based on the prevailing prices of diesel, petrol, LPG, and other applicable operating costs at the time of quotation. In the event of a significant increase in fuel prices or other government-imposed charges before or during the trip, the package price may be revised accordingly.

Hill Area Breakfast

Breakfast provided at hotels/homestays in hill and remote areas may be simpler and may differ in variety, quantity, and presentation from breakfast offered at hotels in cities. Menu and availability are subject to the property and local conditions.

Booking Acceptance

Booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment. Cancellation charges will apply as per the cancellation policy. By confirming the booking, the guest is deemed to have accepted all applicable terms and conditions.
